Can Camades

Can Camades is the renovation of a country house where the lighting supports the traditional materials: warm stucco, timber beams, handmade tiles and encaustic cement floors.

The scheme works in layers: pendant lamps over the table and the worktop for the task areas, wall lights that wash the stucco and the beams with indirect light, and table and bedside lamps that create warm corners in the living room and the bedrooms.

The result is a house that is bright by day and welcoming at night, where the light respects the character of the place without drawing attention to itself.
